A Few Words from Brother Silas

I am regularly introducing new friends to the The Society of the Divine Savior, also known as the Salvatorians. The Society of the Divine Savior is an International Religious Congregation in the Catholic Church, founded in Rome on December 8, 1881 by Bl. Francis Jordan. Today, our Priests, Brothers, Sisters and lay people use their talents, strengths and experiences to foster justice and peace here at home and around the world.

Your gifts and prayers help us to share the good news of our Savior's love and mercy with those in need through our missions in more than 40 countries. That help is delivered through food, lifesaving medicines and, most importantly, the saving world of the Gospel. We strive to share his mission and to let the whole world know that the love and compassion of our Savior is there for everyone. Your support as donors, prayer partners and friends keep our many diverse ministries thriving. Salvatorians consider it an honor and a privilege to pray for you and your intentions. We invite you to pray with us.

In the words of Bl. Jordan:
"Pray. The Lord will not abandon you. He will support you to fight the good fight to the end. Prayer, I say, assures us victory."

Along with daily Masses the Salvatorians celebrate eleven Novenas of Masses at the Salvatorian Motherhouse in Rome every year. Schedule of Novenas Please send us your intentions for any of these Novenas by email or call us at 1-800-254-4902.

We offer devotional items to our partners and benefactors. We have cards that are appropriate for all of life's special moments. Please check out our greeting cards, Mass cards and prayer cards we have available. Let us know which cards you would like to have mailed to you.  It's a wonderful feeling to send a card to loved ones and friends knowing that they will be remembered in prayers and Masses.

Prayers, Masses and Ministries - these are ways we spread the Mission of our Founder. "To share the love and mercy of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through all possible means."

In the Divine Savior,
Brother Silas, S.D.S.

Novena Calendar

A Novena is a series of nine daily Masses celebrated to obtain special graces and usually offered in honor of a saint or to commemorate an event in the life of the Church.

The Salvatorians offer 12 Novenas throughout the year. You are invited to send us your intentions for a remembrance in these Masses and prayers.
