Steven Torres – Candidate

Background: College seminarian for the Dioceses of Phoenix, Arizona at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio. Steven recalls that when celebrating his First Holy Eucharist, he watched the priest offer the sacrifice at the altar. “It was at that moment that I was attracted to the altar,” he said. “From that young age I started to read about basic church teachings and build a life centered and nurtured on prayer.”

Hobbies: Swimming, hiking, kayaking, reading, praying and spending time with family and friends. Also interested in canon law, and the history of the Roman Rite liturgy.
